New case study: Innovative Care Complement program
We're excited to share that our latest case study on Care Complement has arrived! The innovative Care Complement program provides access to affordable care options by removing cost sharing for certain services, therapies, and medications. For example, the first six visits with a physical or occupational therapist and first six visits with a chiropractor are available at no member cost sharing. Download the case study to learn:
- How Care Complement improves access to affordable, evidence-based care for chronic conditions and pain management
- What covered services are available at no member cost sharing
- The potential annual value that a family of four can unlock from Care Complement
Share the Care Complement case study with your clients and discuss plan options based on their group size.
Reminder: Upcoming formulary changes starting July 1
As you may know, each year we make changes to our formulary to ensure we achieve our objective of providing access to a wide variety of safe and effective medications to our providers and members at the lowest possible cost. To further this goal, we’ll be updating our formulary twice a year, in January and July.
The next update will go into effect on July 1, and some medications will no longer be covered. The formulary updates can be viewed here. Members impacted received a letter notifying them of the upcoming change and, if available, a list of covered alternatives. Members should discuss these changes with their doctor. If members have questions about their coverage, they can email HealthPlanCustomerService-Members@mgb.org or log in to Member.MGBHP.org, to live-chat with a Customer Service professional.
