New pelvic health program for eligible fully-insured commercial members
Mass General Brigham Health Plan is excited to introduce Bloom, a new, personalized pelvic health offering that enriches our women's health portfolio. This innovative program improves coverage of pelvic health services and also provides enhanced support for underrepresented areas of women's healthcare.
“Our commitment to women’s health reflects our legacy of going beyond traditional coverage to support whole-person care and builds on the excellence of women’s health initiatives in Massachusetts,” said Steven Tringale, President, Mass General Brigham Health Plan. “As part of an integrated healthcare system, we can bring a comprehensive focus to meet a wide variety of health needs for our members.”
The new pelvic health initiative is available to fully-insured commercial members. Read the full press release and learn more about Bloom on our women's health portfolio page.
Virtual primary care: Convenient access to care
Did you know our members can access primary healthcare services anytime, anywhere? Virtual primary care allows our members to get the same high-quality primary care they’d receive in an office, delivered online. Our network includes virtual and hybrid practices with availability for new patients to help make it easier to access primary care. Virtual or hybrid practices may be good options for members looking to start a primary care relationship. Comprehensive care is available via video, phone, or chat for a faster, more convenient experience. Providers help with navigation to in-person care when necessary for things like X-rays, bloodwork, and minor procedures and can provide referrals to in-network specialists. Practices in the Mass General Brigham Health Plan network that provide virtual primary care include Firefly Health, Carbon Health, and One Medical. Learn more on our virtual primary care page.
