# Mass General Brigham Health Plan named one of the highest-rated health plans in the nation by the NCQA

October 7, 2026 (SOMERVILLE, MA) – Mass General Brigham Health Plan has once again been recognized among the nation’s highest-rated Commercial and Medicaid health plans by the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).

Mass General Brigham Health Plan is the top-rated Commercial HMO in Massachusetts, with a rating of 4.5 out of 5 in NCQA’s Commercial Health Plan Ratings 2026. This performance reflects the organization’s commitment to the member experience and continued strength in programs that support preventive care, behavioral health, women’s health, and chronic condition management.

Mass General Brigham Health Plan also received 4.5 out of 5 in NCQA’s Medicaid Health Plan Ratings 2026—one of 17 plans nationwide to receive this rating. This recognition is attributed to the coordinated care and coverage that Mass General Brigham Health Plan offers as part of an integrated healthcare system.
