Mass General Brigham Health Plan to host iceless curling lanes and Winter Wish Wall at Snowport market

Mass General Brigham Health Plan is proud to once again support Snowport, an annual winter market in Boston’s Seaport neighborhood. Snowport will be open through February 28, 2026 and feature several vendors, activities, and events.

As part of our sponsorship, our Marketing team will be hosting a pop-up holiday photo booth in the market on Sunday, December 7 from 1–4 p.m. We invite you to come by the Holiday Market to have your photo taken at our booth and see what else it has to offer.

Back by popular demand, Mass General Brigham Health Plan is sponsoring the iceless curling lanes. This family-friendly activity promotes health and wellness and creates an opportunity for people of all ages to get moving. The curling lanes are free, open to the public, and no experience is required. Reservations are made through the Seaport Insider app. Each time slot booking provides one curling lane reservation for a group of up to eight people for 30-minutes.

In addition, Mass General Brigham Health Plan is hosting the Winter Wish Wall, a 25-foot chalkboard where guests can write hopes, dreams, and messages for the year ahead.

“As part of our commitment to the community, we are very excited to be offering the Winter Wish Wall at Snowport,” said Stanley Hochberg, M.D., Chief Medical Officer, Mass General Brigham Health Plan. “This is a wonderful activity that encourages our community to prioritize health and well-being and sets the tone for a fulfilling year ahead.”

Visit the Snowport website for additional information on planned activities. You can also read more in the Boston Globe, Northshore Magazine, and MassLive.

Launching soon: Our new wellness platform arrives on January 1, 2026

As previously announced, we are pleased to share that Mass General Brigham Health Plan is moving to a new wellness platform, effective January 1, 2026. Available through our Member Portal at Member.MGBHP.org, our new wellness hub offers a refreshed design while keeping the features members value and adding enhancements for usability, reporting, and engagement.

We are collaborating with a recognized digital health leader, mPulse, to offer the new platform. Named one of Newsweek’s World's Best Digital Health Companies in 2024, mPulse works with nine of the top 10 payers in the country, plus several integrated delivery systems.

Members with existing accounts on the Personify wellness portal will receive an email this month alerting them to the upcoming change. We are also adding content to the existing portal to announce the change. We're counting down the days to the new year because we're so excited for our members to explore the new wellness hub. Thank you for your continued partnership.

Explore virtual and hybrid care options for members

Our network includes virtual and hybrid practices with availability for new patients to help increase member access to primary care.

Virtual or hybrid practices may be good options for members looking to start a primary care relationship. Comprehensive care is available via video, phone, or chat for a faster, more convenient experience. Providers help with navigation to in-person care when necessary for things like X-rays, bloodwork, and minor procedures and can provide referrals to in-network specialists.

Virtual primary care capabilities may include:

  • Care plans for disease prevention
  • Management of chronic conditions
  • Diagnosis and treatment for most acute illnesses
  • Prescription refills
  • Referrals

Practices in network include:

Please note: Carbon Health and One Medical offer both in-person and virtual care options for a range of services including urgent care and chronic condition management. When in-person care is needed, visits take place at their physical locations or may involve referrals to specialists as appropriate. Annual physicals must be completed at a brick-and-mortar location.

Many additional providers in our network also offer virtual care. Members can check the provider directory to confirm practices available in network.
